The factory control arms are flat across all three mounting points and as you lift your truck, the ball joint angle is increased.  At the same time, the upper control arm loses clearance to the suspension limiting bump stop that is located under the front of the upper A-arm.  Our hand fabricated, TIG welded control arms feature improved clearance to this bump stop.
