The Agency Power exhaust for the Can-Am X3 is manufactured entirely in Arizona, USA. After completing 3D modeling, prototypes, and a proven jig, production of this exhaust began to support all Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo models. It is made from high-quality stainless steel tubing, which is precision TIG welded. The exhaust features stainless steel mounting brackets and a spring retainer that allows for the use of either the factory or aftermarket catalytic converter pipe.
The unique AP tips are constructed from 18-gauge stainless steel and are securely bolted to the exhaust, incorporating an integrated spark arrestor system. The dual tip design is compatible with the factory plastic exhaust shielding. For this project, a custom Magnaflow muffler was designed to provide a pleasant tone when the exhaust valve is closed. Exhaust gases flow through the resonator muffler and exit through the left-hand side tip. When the valve is opened, the gases bypass the muffler and exit straight through the right-side exhaust tip.
To operate the valvetronic exhaust, a custom plug-and-play switch from XTC Powersports is included. This switch features color-matching LEDs to indicate the on and off positions and can be mounted on the center dash or center console. If you choose to mount it on the center dash near the start and stop button, the switch plugs into an existing port. For center console mounting, the CANBUS bar is conveniently located beneath the trim, allowing for easy power and ground connections.
The valve operates using vacuum pressure, and each kit includes a vacuum block that fits onto the stock intake manifold. Here, you can connect the solenoid, which is operated by the switch to open and close the valve. With the exhaust valve open, you'll hear the turbo spool up as you accelerate through the RPM range.
